The antimony pentafluoride cannot be found in Venetian atmosphere, must be contraband import
Thermal-Corrosive Mix (“Hot Vitriol”)
Nickname: Red Burn
Concept: Acid + exothermic activation (pirates heat or catalyze it)
Why this matters
Heat is the real killer of composites.
Effects on carbon composites
Accelerates resin breakdown dramatically
Causes:
Matrix pyrolysis
Blistering / bubbling
Rapid delamination under load
👉 This is how pirates “speed up” a kill without needing unrealistic chemistry
Gameplay role
Short-range, high-risk weapon
Used during boarding or finishing attacks

I really like something that you said before about the pirates using acid, but sulfuric acid is not very potent compared to these below which can be derivatives of electrolysis, extracting molecular hydrogen and or oxygen

Fluorosulfuric Acid (HSO3F): One of the strongest known "superacids," it is roughly a thousand times stronger than pure sulfuric acid. It is exceptionally corrosive and can even attack glass.

Fluoroantimonic Acid (

): Created by mixing fluorosulfuric acid with antimony pentafluoride, this is the strongest known superacid, estimated to be

times stronger than 100% sulfuric acid. It must be stored in specialized Teflon containers because it dissolves almost everything

The antimony pentafluoride cannot be found in Venetian atmosphere, must be contraband import
