So this is a Windows-first UE5 Steam desktop game

What about mobile?

No mobile support

  • Volumetric clouds
  • Dense scattering
  • Massive scale
  • Multiplayer sync

👉 These are not mobile-friendly systems
👉 Barely even “mid-tier PC friendly”

What about other platforms?

Mac and Linux are natively supported by Unreal Engine as project platforms but...

  • ⚠️ Mac (supported, but weaker GPU ecosystem + tooling gaps)
  • ⚠️ Linux (supported, but niche + more work)

Maybe later port to console (Xbox and/or PS5) but consider...

  • Performance targets (UE5 features like Nanite/Lumen are heavy)
  • Networking complexity
  • QA burden explodes with more platforms

Distribution

Distributed on Steam

  • Steam audience is overwhelmingly Windows
